Fashion houses are often named after their founding designer, but Josiane Pividal went about it differently. In 1983 Josiane and her husband Joseph who was an interior designer, created their label Lolita Lempicka. They soon changed their name to Lolita and Joseph-Marie Lempicka due to the huge success of their brand Lolita Lempicka
In the late 1970s Lolita began to work with Cacharel, putting her signature to collections for women and children. Lolita drew on her childhood fantasies to create her wedding dresses
1997 saw the launch of Lolita Lempicka perfume. Her first perfume, conceived as a fairy tale for women, is one of the biggest success stories of the last ten years |
