In 1881 three Cerruti brothers founded a textile business in Biella, an area well-known for its high quality wool production. Antonio (Nino) Cerruti was born there in 1930 as the eldest grandson of one of the founding brothers, who than joined the family firm in 1950 and became the head of the company
